September 3rd was a sweet autumn day, ideal in every way for Katherine and Hunter’s Boho Chic Wedding at Homestead Blessings Barn in Corning, NY.

If you’re a fan of pampas grass, neutral colors, and all things barn glam, then you will fall in love with the gorgeous design from this shabby chic wedding.

Katherine and Hunter are truly the kindest and cutest couple you will ever meet. They are young, in love, and head over heels with the life they have built together. While appearing like two entirely different people on the outside, their connection has reminded me of a chemistry best explained by Emily Bronte: “Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same.”

Katherine explained that though they met at church, they didn’t like each other at first because he was too “country,” and I was too “preppy.” But after dating other people, getting their hearts broken around the same time, and trusting God when he led them to each other, they knew early on that they would be together forever.

Katherine, a wedding planner at heart, had dreamt of this day since she was a little girl and she had a vision to kill: pampas grass, lovely neutrals, and feminine touches galore. She set out to bring together her dream of a boho chic farmhouse wedding to life, and she did so impeccably.

She started by finding a rustic yet elegant wedding venue, Homestead Blessings Barn. A fully restored 1860s dairy barn, Homestead Blessings is situated in the green landscape of Upstate NY and is enveloped in rolling hills of pine trees and woods. Fully furnished with unique specialty rentals like wooden farmhouse tables, vintage buffets, antique pews, and stunning tableware, this venue charming is feels glamorous yet homey.

Katherine opted to get ready in Homestead Blessings’ quaint farmhouse, which gave her the luxury of being on-site all weekend (highly recommend!) and it set the backdrop for gorgeous behind-the-scene images the morning of her wedding.

In collaborating with Christianna and Susan, the dream team and masterminds of Homestead Blessings, she was able to pick out her other wedding vendors including myself for photography, Meganography for videography, Lovely Bride Rochester for her gown, and Minted Wedding for her stationery. Katherine and Hunter’s wedding day turned out heartfelt, emotional, intimate, and dreamy in every way. From pillowfights, to Starbuck’s Strawberry Dragon Drinks, to Laurabelle’s masterpiece dessert table, every detail of this farmhouse wedding was boho-chic perfection.

I’m so thankful I was able to celebrate Katherine and Hunter’s marriage and create a visual narrative of their especially stunning wedding day. Here’s to a lifetime more of shopping sprees, starbuck’s drinks, youth group serving, and quality family time for Katherine and Hunter.
