Katie and Ryan scored a beautiful, fall day with the most amazing view at their Timber Banks Wedding Venue in Syracuse, NY.

Their ceremony ran deep with all the feelings, and I’m still melting over Ryan’s reaction to Katie walking down the aisle. What a perfect day, made possible by the most amazing team of wedding vendors in Syracuse, NY.

As soon as Katie and Ryan told me they were guests at Cristi and Trevor’s Lake Ontario Wedding, I know they’d be heaps of fun! Katie and Ryan actually met at work, but through mutual friends, spontaneous lunch dates, and eventually a deep, gravitational bond, they grew to be so much more than friends – they became true soulmates.
With fall being their favorite season, it was only fitting that they planned a September wedding. 😊
Being avid golfers, it made the most sense to have their wedding at Timber Banks Wedding Venue in Syracuse, NY. Timber Banks Golf Club is home to a world-class golf course, and is situated in the heart of Upstate New York– a tranquil, natural beauty that’s the perfect wedding backdrop.
The vision for theY HAD FOR THEIR WEDDING DAY was simple, clean, and modern – an aesthetic that felt timeless with a pop of autumn color.
The bridesmaids wore the dreamiest terracotta hues, and accented by lush greenery of the Upstate NY’s woodlands and meadows, Katie and Ryan couldn’t have picked a lovelier color palette for their wedding.
It was SUPER important to Katie and Ryan that their wedding photos felt natural and organic (which NATURALLY, I WAS THRILLED about!! *COUGH COUGH* LEARN more about my photography experience here! 😆 )
They were both SO photogenic, making it literally impossible to get a bad shot, and Katie was a complete and total KNOCKOUT! 🙌 Her fit and flare dress was so flattering, and paired with her chapel length veil, she was the epitome of elegance.
There was something especially unique about their wedding, being that they chose to have it on a Friday!
I love how they opted for a week day, even while nontraditional, making it a wedding experience that worked best for them! (I had a wedding on a Monday over the summer — peep Kat and Nitzan’s Magical Catskills Wedding at Full Moon Resort here — and it was so much fun celebrating their wedding on week day!!)
timber banks wedding venue made the most breathtaking backdrop for their fall wedding.
Located in the heart of New York State, this region boasts ancient forests, glorious waterfalls, and captivating wetlands – while also offering outdoor activities, family friendly parks, and special festivals throughout the year. The wedding industry is growing in this area, and Timber Banks is one of many great wedding venues in Syracuse, NY.
It was only fitting to end the night by heading down to the docks to play with the glow of lanterns.
The sky shifted from strawberry-mango smoothie to velvety blue, and my associate shooter, Loraleah, captured the most fairytale-like reflections in the water. The images feel like total art to me, with their warmth giving a honey-like hue, and the emotion just radiates with magic.
I’m so thankful to Katie and Ryan for entrusting me (and Loraleah!!) with THESE precious memories, and I’m overjoyed to CHEER THEM ON IN THEIR new MARRIED LIFE!
Cheers to Katie and Ryan, and to their greatest adventure yet— their journey as husband and wife!
