Jayda and Allen

This microwedding left me speechless on so many levels…

Like so many couples, Jayda and Allen had been deeply impacted by COVID-19. They had to postpone their wedding (twice), rebook a whole bunch of vendors, lose down payments and deposits, and honestly, that could’ve gone to heart and soured their day… but it didn’t.

Having recently purchased their first-time home together, they decided this: Let’s keep it small, intimate, and cost-effective. Let’s have it in our new home! (Um, can you say OBSESSED with that idea?!)

A handful of their closest family and friends huddled in their living room as they said “I Do,” gathered about them on their back patio as they danced for the first time as husband and wife, and joined them in a car parade at the end of their ceremony. Sure, it was different than their original vision, but it couldn’t have been any more beautiful Don’t you agree?!

On top of that, I will forever be drooling over this window floral installation from Kelsea at Poppysea Studio. And if you’re looking for another amazing elopement / floral collar with her, then check out this elopement at Homestead Blessings!
