Hannah and Darren
Take this is as your sign to prioritize golden hour photos!
Hannah and Darren officially tied the knot this summer, and it was a day for the books! But with a large wedding party, extended guest list, and a packed timeline, we weren’t sure whether or not we’d have time to sneak away for golden hour photos… I’m SO glad we did! The 10 minutes we were able to steal away were a few of my favorite moments from the day, and here’s 3 reasons you should do the same:
The lighting is soft and magical, and it creates the dreamiest environment for photost!!!
This break gives you a brief pause from the craziness of the day and creates an opportunity for you to soak in the magnitude of your wedding! Weddings, albeit fun, exciting, and beautiful, can be overwhelming, so sneaking away for a few bridal portraits can help you slow down and intentionally appreciate every little detail.
You can focus on what really matters - your marriage! Without fail, the beauty of golden hour always inspires awe, beauty, and alllll the feels, so it organically creates an opportunity for you to quiet your heart, snuggle close, and breathe in the beautiful, new beginnings of your marriage - the true reason for your wedding! :)

P.S. For those eloping or planning an attire session, sunrise sessions are equally as magical as golden hour, and I’ll let Hannah and Darren’s engagement photos serve as proof of that. Nuff said :)
