There is just something SO SPECIAL about when my brides have a VISION!
This past August, I got a note from Jessie, who said that she was planning an adventure elopement… in less than two months!! She pulled off the wedding of her dreams in less than 60 days, and let me tell ya… it was something SPECIAL. 💫
Jessie and Jimmy DIYed essentially every element of their day, including the MAGICAL GIANT MACRAME background, the wooden arbor stumps with hand-carved initials, the tablescapes, and every pretty, little detail in-between.
They had their first look in front of a waterfall, shared their vows in front of 15 of their closest family and friends, and swept into their first dance immediately after saying “I do.” Just like a fairytale, it was the embodiment of intimacy.
It was quiet, happy, and peaceful all at once, and it reminded me all over again why I love elopements as much as I do: simple, heartfelt, and meaningful. And let’s be honest, I’m still crying over the amazing food and donuts from local Toast N Grind, as well as the perfectly simple flower crown from my dear friend, Kelsea of Poppysea Floristry.
